YOUR TASKS

As the Global Leader of Marketing, you oversee global marketing operations, digital strategy implementation, and agency management while leading a worldwide team. Your role focuses on building brand awareness, generating leads, and supporting sales with effective tools and tactics. You will develop expertise in target markets, clients, and knoell’s services. Upholding knoell’s values, you drive high-quality performance and innovation. Acting as a strategic hub, the marketing team collaborates with stakeholders to foster business growth and streamline processes through automation. The team delivers an integrated marketing mix, including digital, event, content, design, and account-based marketing, to drive lead generation, demand management, and sales support.

  • Lead and manage global marketing team (hiring & onboarding, communication and mentoring through regular 1:1 meetings, motivation, managing performance and feedback, and enhancing team collaboration).
  • Implement the strategic directions of the knoell group (focus areas / client segments / services).
  • Act as the operational lead of (digital) marketing campaigns and projects, and thus have a direct impact on the continuous and successful implementation and communication of the defined focus topics - globally and locally.
  • Implement, operate and maintain the Marketing Automation tool and CRM System (both Salesforce) as Product Owner.
  • Develop and implement brand and communication strategies for the service portfolio.
  • Develop the annual marketing plan and budget based on the business strategy.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute digital marketing campaigns for the defined services and target markets.
  • Continuously improve the marketing mix with a clear focus on digital channels and activities.
  • Monitor and ensure implementation of marketing activities with regard to thematic, technical, time and budget specifications.
  • Closely cooperate with leadership, operations and sales to achieve common goals.
  • Build up and manage a network of external partners (e.g. agencies, freelancers) for production and execution (global & local).

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar with a focus on marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Proven track record of 5 years or more in international marketing ideally in B2B environment
  • High expertise in marketing & digital tools (e.g., Marketing automation, CRM - Salesforce preferred)
  • 3 years of people leadership experience
  • Fluent in English

  • Expert-level knowledge on marketing strategy and operations
  • High degree of initiative, self-organisation and communication skills
  • Affinity for numbers and technology, both data-related and KPI-oriented
  • Confidence in the parallel management of diverse topics and projects with transparent and efficient internal communication to all stakeholders

  • Ability to comfortably and professionally interact with individuals at all levels of a global matrix organisation
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a structured manner
